Due to a large backlog of repairs, I'm unable to take on any new work until January 2026. All the best, Luke

For new customers that have a question about an instrument or work you are thinking of getting done, you can start the conversation by sending me a text and a brief description of the problem. If you do call, I'm not always able to grab the phone as soon as it rings ( hand inside guitar, gluing up a split, with a customer etc.), but I will try and call back as soon as I'm free.
If you'd prefer to email, you can get in touch at [email protected] but I may take longer to reply.
If you're simply shopping around for the lowest price and send me a blurry picture of your guitar expecting an accurate quote or you text " my guitar has a buzz, how much to fix it??" without even leaving your name, I will not reply.
I can always throw out a 'worst case' price to cover myself but you'll think I'm a rip off and the issue might have been a simpler fix which wastes both our time. I can give ballpark prices for service/setup work and very common repairs over the phone but there are too many variables and unknowns that I can't see in a picture and many problems don't reveal themselves until I can get up close.
If you care about getting the work done properly, I would expect that you would be happy to take the time to drop in to the workshop to meet and allow me to closely inspect your instrument before committing to an accurate quote.... rant over!
Appreciate your time looking at the site, thanks, Luke.
